TRIE board member & Researcher and ISMAT lecturer, Américo Mateus is Guest Speaker and Moderator at the Global Forum and at the Water & Humanity Conference in Muscat, Oman

PhD Américo Mateus, lecturer of the Communication Design Course and co-diretor of then Design for Cirucular Economy Master at ISMAT, was invited to be Speaker and Moderator of the Global Forum think Thank and for the Water & Humanity Conference to be held from 16 on 20 October in Muscat, Oman.

GLOBAL FORUM - Shaping the Future

For over 30 years, the Global Forum/Shaping the Future is an annual, international, high-profile, non-profit think-tank. It is dedicated to the main technological, economic, social, societal, political and ethical issues and challenges that imply the evolution of our digital society. Professor Américo Mateus participates in the thematic panel - Industry & University Dialogue: Setting the stage for the Innovative Training and Skills Development workshop together with:

"WATER AND HUMANITY" conference

"Water and Humanity" is a multi-stakeholder initiative, which has grown out of substantive collaborative projects and novel activities run by a number of different actors, in Oman and internationally. “Water and Humanity” does not represent a single organisation or series of events. It represents an agenda, an ongoing effort and a series of projects aimed to help fuel and sustain cross-border collaboration, which ultimately will be what matters the most for the future of the world we live in.
