Twinning for a green Future – research project TRIE/ISMAT – call: Town Twinning between Turkey and EU-II, was selected by EU Commission

The Project – BiomaterialKIT – Practical and pedagogical experiment for more sustainable consumption, was selected by the EU for funding. The Project is led by TRIE/ISMAT together with CM Portimão and has as partners the University of Izmir and the city of Izmir Bayrakli in Turkey.

On the side of TRIE / ISMAT, the project’s main researcher is Professor Susana Leonor, Director of the Communication Design and Creative Technologies degrees at ISMAT, who is also a Professor of the Master’s in Design for the Circular Economy and researcher at the TRIE Ensino Lusófona research center. The research team includes researchers / lectures from the ISMAT Communication Design, Creative Technologies and Masters for Circular Economy courses: Gabriel Patrocinio, Carla Paoliello, Américo Mateus, David Palma.

The project aims to promote a change in the perception of climate change and environmental sensitivity, generating awareness and skills for the green transition among young people and their families.

TRIE transversal knowledge, methodologies and Models on Participatory Design is a “Fusionist Builder” of an integrated greener, more productive and fairer society for all!
